Mr. Fermon is a Vice President at AE Industrial and is part of the firm’s Portfolio Strategy and Optimization Group focused on operational performance improvement across AE Industrial’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining AE Industrial in 2021, Mr. Fermon worked at General Electric for over 25 years in the Aviation, Transportation and Industrial Systems businesses. Most recently, Mr. Fermon grew the GE Aviation global component repair business to over $3 billion in revenue (approximately doubling revenue and earnings in three years). He also held roles founding the Accelerated Leadership Program (XLP) to develop aspiring executive talent, leading the International Programs team responsible for revenue and risk sharing programs, as well as numerous roles in program management and shop operations including plant leadership for sites of over 1,000 team members.
